The big rains this week have the Corp holding back the flood gates for now. We look for them to wait until it crests out in KS and below on LOZ to start letting the water rip again. Still generating a good flow though and the fish are still biting well. However, you may have to change up your strategy a bit. Still lots of nice sized crappie. Water temperature is 60 degrees per COE report so we should see crappie on the banks very soon now, if they aren't already on some of the warmer areas on the lake. Whites and Hybrids are continuing to bite well. And the larger cats are picking up but slowly. Plenty of 1-10 lb. blues though. Better bring the rain gear just in case, but fishing should be real good this weekend.
