As of this morning they have started to run the turbines as well as the small amount through the one gate for oxygenation at The Tailrace. Crappie have been fair to good for most. Still a lot of smaller fish to work thru to get the keepers. Catfish good but not a lot of larger fish there either. They should be starting to come off the nest and will be hungry. When they decide it is safe to crank the water out we look for the COE to let her rip through the gates for the second time this season and the fishing should be outstanding. Truman is up around 727, a good 21 feet high and this will take a good while to drop back down towards normal pool.
