Bruce Carpenter, my grandfather, and myself fished Truman Lake on 7/24/00 with pink jigs tipped with minnows and boated a nice limit of 45 crappie in 3 hours. Thanks for a great site! Frankie Dernosek of Blue Springs, MO stopped by The Station Bait & Tackle to show off his 1st Place trophies. Frankie won 1st Place in his age group AND 1st Place in the Total Weight division in the MBH Youth Shoot-bow fishing. The weight of the fish in the picture was 27 1/2 lbs. Way to go Frankie! Here is Jake Medlock of Niangua, MO with his catch of hybrids from Truman Lake. One was 12 lbs. and the other was 10 lbs. and 6 oz. Excellent hybrids fishing! Way to go Jake!

John Ball of St. Charles, Missouri has done it again! He landed the 29 lb. cat on a trotline using leeches. This was done on Truman Lake near the Osage Arm.

John and Peggy Ball of St. Charles, MO wanted to make sure their son Jeff, saw what they caught at Truman Dam. Using a Big Bug Topwater Lure and spoons, they landed a 12 lb. and a 7 lb. hybrid.
